    Henry Day Ford donates $10,000 to Primary Children's Medical Center
    Henry Day Ford and Primary Children's Medical Center have joined forces to give the gift of hope to children throughout the Inter-mountain region. During the month of May Henry Day Ford is gearing their sales promotions toward making donations to the Primary Children's Hospital. We feel like our donations to Primary Children's would go a long way and would go to a great cause. As a dealership, we are contributing money from every car sold during the promotion to go toward this great cause. In addition, we are asking all guests that we come in to contribute any amount that they feel comfortable with. We hope to be able to raise $10,000 for this promotion and your help would be greatly appreciated!

    Salt Lake City Ronald McDonald House
    Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Intermountain Area provides a temporary  home-away-from-home that serves and sustains families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at area hospitals, as well as providing support to other programs that assist children in our community. Children heal faster and cope better when surrounded by their loved ones. Since the kitchen is the "Heart of the House", Adopt-a-Meal volunteers help create that "home away from home" feeling by providing meals for families whose children have life-threatening illness. A big "Thank You" goes out to Martin Peterson, Darrell Frank, Claudia Hasslock, Bill Shields, Tim Herzog, Cody Nielson and Bryant Gibby. They arrived at 7:00 am with food and cooked breakfast for approximately 20-30 people. Many of the employees at Henry Day Ford contributed money to help pay for the food. Since opening the doors 1988, Salt Lake City Ronald McDonald House have served over 35,000 families from all over the world
    Henry Day Ford helps raise money for local high schools.
    It's not easy being a school or non-profit organization these days. A sluggish economy means tight budgets and tough choices. Unfortunately, demand for services doesn't let up just because it's tough to make ends meet. Henry Day Ford along with Ford Motor Company has worked with Granger and Hunter high schools to promote this program. The events take place in the spring and fall of the school year.

    In 2007, Ford Motor Company developed a program to help raise funds for local high schools called Drive 4 UR School. This created an opportunity for schools and their clubs, groups and extracurricular activities to raise money to continue or expand their operations. With the help of a local Ford dealership, schools organize, promote and hold a one day Ford test drive event for the surrounding community. For every qualified test drive that's completed at the event, Ford donates $20 to the school, with a goal of raising up to $6,000 total.
    Custom Car Show raises money and awareness
    for the Children's Justice Center
    Henry Day Ford holds a custom car show once a year to help raise money and awareness for the Children's Justice Center in Salt Lake County. The program serves 3,700 people annually and provides critical assistance with investigations involving sexual abuse, physical abuse, child homicide, domestic violence related child abuse, abductions, and shaken baby syndrome.

    Who is the Children's Justice Center? Child abuse is a traumatic and devastating experience for both children and their families. Victims are often confused and blame themselves. The Children's Justice Center (CJC) is a home-like, child-friendly facility where children receive coordinated services during the child abuse investigative process by decreasing secondary trauma that may be caused by the criminal justice and child protection systems. The CJC is a Salt Lake County government program administered by the Division of Youth Services within the Department of Human Services.

    Ford Motor Company and Henry Day Ford have been active in the fight against breast cancer since 1993. Ford Motor Company has donated over $120 million to the cause to date. In 2006 Ford intensified its efforts by introducing Warriors in Pink and the Ford Warriors in Pink line of wear and gear, donating 100% of the net proceeds to the cause. Ford is partners with Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, The Pink Fund and Young Survival Coalition giving shoppers their choice of these charities to support with their apparel purchase. Warriors in Pink continues to extend their reach through popular magazines, TV shows, movies, celebrity endorsements, and other innovative approaches - to help keep the topic of breast cancer relevant 365 days a year.
